Chaska’s origins date back to 1871 when it was first incorporated as a village. The high-quality clay found here helped the city become a thriving brick manufacturing center. When the St. Louis Railroad was built through the town in 1873, the town experienced rapid growth.
Chaska is full of rich, restored historic sites but also offers a lot of modern design. The Italianate and Queen Anne architectural styles of homes found here reflect the rich history of the city.
