There are so many real estate agents out there, so what makes a Hancock Group agent stand apart from the crowd? We believe a team is only as good as the sum of it's parts. That said, we are a small powerhouse team of agents who are highly motivated and focused on producing results. Our philosophy is not to have a lot of team members, but rather a small group of hard working agents who do a LOT of business. HG only consists of the very best of the best.
All HG agents are full time, experienced, and trained to the highest level. In addition, when you hire an HG agent, you are hiring an entire team of people who are all working on your behalf. The days of relying on just one person are over, because we understand that buying or selling a home requires a lot of cooperation and specialization to be as successful as it can possibly be.
Samantha is the co-owner and original founder of the Hancock Group. Throughout her years of service in the field, she has earned recognition as an industry leader and innovator in the Minnesota Real Estate market. She has earned many awards and still remains a top producing real estate agent in the state. Currently, Samantha’s main focus is perfecting the HG client experience, growing and expanding the team, and working with our agents and admins to constantly raise the bar. She is continually looking for new and better ways to serve our clients, create opportunities, and ensure amazing results. Outside of work, Samantha and her husband, Jay, have four kids, a dog, and 12 chickens and a live on a hobby farm in Waconia township. She enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, being involved in the church, and staying active.
Jay Hancock brings energy, enthusiasm, and tough negotiation skills to every real estate transaction. His background as a small business owner and collegiate athlete gives his clients an upper hand and ensures every sale is handled with professionalism and care. Because of his in-depth understanding of business and marketing, Jay currently leads our team’s luxury home sales division. He is exceptional at marketing homes in the upper bracket and currently ranks amongst the top 1% of real estate agents nation wide. With that being said, Jay is able to service clients in all price brackets and life phases.
Mike is a force in the real estate world, combining excellent negotiation skills with strategic marketing and an “always available” mentality. His background as a small business owner ensures he has a thorough understanding of the very best marketing channels to pursue as well as the business savvy to understand and accomplish his client’s financial needs in addition to their personal goals. Because of this, his clients experience amazing results when both selling, buying and building new homes. In his spare time, Michael is an avid disc golfer and enjoys spending time with family.
Matt Turek is a local agent who has lived in the West Metro, having graduated from Waconia High School, as well as purchased homes in the area. Matt prides himself on customer service, and makes it a point to personalize the home purchase process. Matt works around the clock to ensure a smooth transaction, and operates and communicates with the highest degree of integrity. Matt ensures that clients have a unique and fun experience. In his spare time, Matt enjoys being active outdoors with his wife & two kids.
Jilayna’s background in sales and quality assurance, along with her love of working with people, serve as the foundation for her ability to get the deal done. She focuses on communication and attention to detail to ensure her client’s needs are fulfilled. Her personal experience as a home buyer/seller allows her to step into your shoes and become your personal Real Estate advocate throughout the buying or selling process.
Kelly brings his passion for helping individuals and families to each and every client relationship. Balancing a tireless, authentic energy with excellent marketing and planning skills, he aims to make each of his client’s experiences as smooth as can be. Kelly prides himself on honest, open communication during all phases of the home buying and selling experiences. He shows an agent can be a strong advocate for his client’s best interests at the negotiating table, as well as provide warm and genuine customer service to each and every client.
Josh brings energy and enthusiasm to each and every one of his client relationships. He uses his strong negotiation skills to ensure his clients have great transactions, while both buying and selling. In his free time, Josh enjoys golfing and spending time with family.
Alina prides herself on trust and good communication. Great customer service is her priortiy and she believes that when you treat someone well, they will treat you well in return. Alina brings high energy and a positive attitude to all of her real estate transactions. Alina and her husband, Josh, have two children, Noah and Mila. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and loves getting lost in a good book.
AnneMarie has a passion for working with others. Coming from the field of education, her drive to be informative while having fun and building relationships is important. Due to her background she is able to focus on the details and the big picture, leading her to results. Her ability to tailor to each client is a key component to being successful when working in the buying, selling, and new construction process. AnneMarie prides herself on using open communication which allows her to meet the needs of each of her clients and accomplish their selling and purchasing goals. During her spare time AnneMarie enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, and being on the lake year-round.
Steve lives by the motto: “True Joy through Genuine Stewardship!” Because he believes that only through serving others before himself can he be truly fulfilled. That is why Steve connects so well with those in his community and why he is such an effective realtor. Steve enjoys his family with his wife, Amy and their six children. He is a Minnesota native who planted his roots in Waconia over 17 years ago. Steve loves getting outdoors, especially around the lake where he loves to water ski, fish and run around in the boat with his family. Steve would love to celebrate his passion of life by helping everyone around him realize their real estate dreams.
Alaina has a passion for people and prides herself on creating meaningful and long-lasting relationships with her clients. With a background on The Hancock Team as a Listing Manager, she has ample experience working with buyers and sellers in all parts of the process. She believes Real Estate is fun and exciting and brings that energy into each transaction! In her free time she likes to hike, workout, travel and play with her dog, Luna.
Heather is a positive partner for homeowners and future homeowners and she cares deeply about matching people to homes and communities that they will love to live in. She naturally gravitated toward the real estate industry because she loves working side by side with people and her clients appreciate her attentiveness to their needs. Buying or selling your home is a major life milestone and she feels honored to help her clients in these very important transitions. Heather uses her knowledge and skill to create a smooth experience for her clients with a goal to always exceed their expectations.
Heather grew up in the Twin Cities Metro area and has called Chaska home since 2004. Heather has been married to her husband, Mark, since 2000 and they have 4 daughters. Heather loves to entertain family and friends, travel the National Parks, and be actively involved at church.
Ryan is the Executive Assistant for the Hancock Group. Her job is to ensure an amazing experience for each and every client we serve from the initial greeting to the closing table. Ryan’s expertise with the transaction documentation, attention to detail, and resourcefulness make her an irreplaceable asset to you every step of the way.
Michelle’s background consists of marketing, event planning, and external relations. She is responsible for exhausting all promotion avenues for HG listings, fostering relationships with past and present clients, growing the HG brand, ensuring a fantastic experience to buyers and sellers and managing community events and opportunities. Michelle received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Minnesota State University in Mankato. She enjoys being active, kickboxing and spending time with her family. Michelle and her husband, Kelly, have two daughters, Peyton and Ashton, and reside in Prior Lake.
Chelsea is the Hancock Group’s Listing Manager. Her passion is to ensure that every detail is attended to when helping clients sell their home. We understand how big of a decision selling a home can be, which is why Chelsea is the perfect fit to the team! She has experience in service and is oriented to walk our clients through the process of listing their home every step of the way. Chelsea has her Bachelors Degree from Florida Atlantic University. She loves spending time with family and friends, staying active and being apart of her church.
Jenny is the Hancock Group’s Client Care Coordinator. She brings years of Real Estate experience to the team. She is committed to assisting our clients thru the process of purchasing or selling a home with a smooth transaction every time with her attention to detail and customer service skills. Jenny enjoys life’s adventures by camping and traveling with her family.
